Le Querce is a family run business located outside of Turin in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. With a passion for beekeeping, they specialize in monoflora honey. Working with farms across the country, they move the bees to the purist areas with abundant flowers.
Enjoy all of the flavors--
Acacia--Harvested in the spring in the woods of Piedmont, the honey is a light color that maintains its liquid state. Sweet and delicate, it is best used to sweeten beverages, add to yogurt, or pair with blue cheese.
Millefiori--Gathered at altitudes of 1200 meters in Emilia Romagna and Calabria, it has a mild sweetness and beautiful aroma. Use as a table-top honey or pair with mature cheeses.
Chestnut (Castagno)--Harvested in alpine forests, chestnut honey has a distinctive flavor and deep color with reddish hues. Its pungent aroma and bitter and slightly tannic taste makes it perfect for pairing with mature cheeses, bacon, black tea, and artisanal beers.
All flavors are in handy squeeze containers.
