Olio Verde Novello was pressed during the week of 11 to 18 October 2011. 

The flavor will taste fresh and grassy, with hints of lemon, artichoke, tea, and mint. It have a truly exquisite balance of fruit, bitter, and pungent elements.

Gianfranco Becchina's 1998 award-winning oil repeats again with the 2011 Harvest in this outstanding Sicilian oil. Yellow-green color, smooth taste, unfiltered. The oil is produced at the estate of Prince Pignatelli at Castelvetrano in Sicily using the Nocellara varietal. The 100% Nocellara del Belice olives are hand-picked from the trees. Truly exceptional.

Drizzle over grilled tuna, stewed white beans, polenta, roasted peppers and garlic or a salad of shaved fennel, fresh orange slices and capers. Drizzle over soup. Make breakfast special with a drizzle over poached eggs, or a stir into scrambled eggs.
