In the northern region of Piedmont, you'll find the charming little town of Cherasco.  If you were strolling in the beautiful downtown, you could smell the intense perfume of cocoa drifting out of Arturo and Margaret Ravera's shop, Cioccolateria Ravera.  Arturo, award winning chocolatier, began as a pastry chef.  After a short time, his hobby of perfecting chocolate specialities, became his profession.  His Ravera Chocolate Cake is known throughout Europe as the peak of perfection.

These tiny Baci pieces are handmade using dark chocolate and hazelnuts from Piedmont.  They are cooked over an open fire using the hazelnut shells to give them a unique and delicate flavor.

They are the "flagship" of the Chocolate Ravera, famous for being mellow, soft and crunchy, with the typical roasted hazelnuts.  You must try them.
